About Me

A therapist and his counselling buddy in Burlington

Justin Hamilton SSW, BSW, MSW, RSW

I grew up in Timmins, a city in Northern Ontario, and now I live in Burlington with my loving wife and loyal dog. I have extensive experience dealing with addiction and know how important recovery is. I can also aid in honing your communication skills, coping with anger, and developing relationships. As well, I have a focus on core value work and getting you back in touch with your authentic self. Nowadays, life can be more difficult than ever. At times, it can be overwhelming. I can help you navigate these challenges.

My work has allowed me to share space with many wonderful people. I have the utmost respect for individuals and my approach is candid. The work you do can be difficult. I like to face challenges head-on and provide strength and support to meet those challenges; you don’t have to do it alone, and you shouldn’t.

I received my diploma in Social Service Work at Sheridan College. Following that, I received my Bachelor of Social Work at Laurier University and my Masters of Social Work at McMaster University.

I believe it’s my responsibility and privilege to help others help themselves. Everyone is deserving of their happiness. Let me help you find yours.
